List of Legal Requirements for Marriage:  

• Bride, Groom, and Witnesses must arrive to Cancun 4 working days prior to the wedding day (Saturdays, Sundays, and Mexican Holidays do not count). The wedding coordinator must receive the following documents in order to start the corresponding application for a marriage in the Civil Registry Office.  

• Tourist Card (you will get at your arrival in Cancun Airport).  

• Original Birth Certificates with the stamp (Le Apostille) of the Registry of your Country. This document should be translated into Spanish and there is a charge for each birth certificate. Translation must be done here in Mexico, otherwise will not be valid.  

• If Bride or Groom is divorced, we will need a copy of the Final Divorce Decree with the stamp (Le Apostille) of the Registry of your Country. This document should be translated into Spanish and there is a charge per page, translation must be done here in Mexico, otherwise will not be valid.  

• Valid Passports (this is essential, otherwise the wedding cannot be performed).  

• The blood tests are taken in Mexico, they are not valid if it is taken elsewhere. To be considered valid the test should not be taken more than 14 days prior to the ceremony. The blood will be tested for HIV, RPR (sexually transmitted diseases) and blood type. The results will be ready in 24 hours together with a certificate of the blood test and there is a charge per couple.  

• The names, addresses, nationalities, ages, occupation, relationship, copy of a tourist card and a valid ID of the 4 witnesses. Wedding Coordinator will send you the legal form.  

• The Marriage Certificate is only valid in Mexico. In order to make it legal internationally, the Wedding Coordinator will send a copy of your License to Validation Process. There will be a fee with a translated copy in English. The process may take up to 1-4 months. Once the document is apostilled and translated into English the Hotel will send all documentation to your home address.  

• None of the above mentioned services are included in the Wedding Packages.  

• It is the couple's responsibility to have all the documents ready before the wedding.

• Fully supervised children's program. Kids will enjoy arts and crafts, horseback riding excursions, sand castle competitions, a weekly camp out adventure, ocean trampoline and big screen movies on the beach. For children 3-12 years of age.  

Complimentary Golf Golf at The Riviera Maya Golf Club  

• From 11/15/10 to 04/30/12, guests are able to enjoy up to one complimentary green fee per person, per day as part of their Unlimited-Luxury experience at the Riviera Maya Golf Club. The use of a golf cart is mandatory where there will be a charge per person. Guests will have access to the all inclusive on course food and beverage service provided at The Riviera Maya Golf Club.  

• Guests must arrange their tee time from 45 days to 24 hours in advance with the resort concierge and provide a credit card when doing so.  

• If guests wish to cancel or reschedule their tee time, they must do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $100.00 USD no show penalty per person which, will be charged to the credit card they have provided. The concierge will then issue guests a coupon, which will grant them access to the golf course. Tee times will be subject to availability. General  

• There is a Christmas and New Year's Eve Supplement that is charged automatically on stays crossing those 2 nights.  

• There is a Single Supplement, not valid for Suite Categories nor Supersaver Categories.
